350 and Gesture Drawing
I know I'm still terrible, But for some reason I feel like today I've made a pretty big leap forward. Something about edges and shadows sort of seemed to click. I think if I can continue to work and experiment, there will be hope for me.

350 Again
So much more practice is obviously necessary. I've done more than these obviously but these were (sadly) the most decent of the bunch. Gestures still range from about 30 seconds to 5 minutes. The extended poses were about an hour and a half each. I THINK they are getting better, of course it's so gradual that I can't always tell.

Life Drawing 350

I'm still working on gestures, while I'm trying to do new things I don't think they've significantly improved. Maybe it will be better next go around.

Gesture Drawing

I am taking a Gesture and Figure Drawing class right now, these are from my first week. The time for gestures generally ranges from 10 seconds to 15 minutes. However, these images range from 10 seconds to 2 minutes. You can obviously tell that some of them look like glorified stick figures while others look more like actual people. The ones that look not-so-good are typically the 10 second drawings. The media I'm using is ballpoint pen and prisma colour pencils. The figure Drawing class is also doing extended poses which are about an hour and a half, however last week we didn't do any.
