Water Colour Final and More to Come..

I have not been updating lately. I've been rather busy. However, finals are this week and so I will update each of my classes finals as I get to them. Here is my watercolour one.

I actually quite like it. I used a random picture I pulled off of google for the reference. It was just a couple of kids in Africa (probably). They were so cute I really wanted to paint them. It's done in watercolour on paper. My drawing finals are next week and the week after so I'll do those when the time comes.

Recent Sketchbook Work

I started a new sketchbook, there obviously isn't very much in it yet...however I wanted to post a few pages I thought were decent. I was working on horses for a project a little while ago and I'm currently working on faces for a project due this coming tuesday so these pages revolve around that.

WaterColour Week 7

This week was portraits of people we know/ourselves. I did a self portrait and one of my sister. I will also be updating a few sketchbook pages this week.

Watercolour Week 5

This is what I decided on for the last face. I used someones artwork as style inspiration and then just googled a random picture of a woman and gave her hair (it was in a ponytail). Anyway, here it is.

The start of Week 5

THIS IS JUST DRAFTS. To begin the week, I wanted to try out a few new interesting ideas. So I found a few random portraits and painted these in my sketchbook. I am planning on doing a few more complete images before the end of the week.

Water Colour Week 4

I just really liked that top drawing we did in class so I added it in. It's a water colour of a piece of crumpled paper. The bottom picture is my weekly project. I wanted to do something fall themed, and kind of cute so I decided on mice trick or treating. I feel like it isn't finished yet though or there is something that I need to add to it...

Water Colour Week 3

I did acrylic again...I wanted to work on something that told a bit of a story so it's somewhat different than my other works. Anyway, I hope you like it!

Water Colour Week 2

Well, this is obviously not watercolour...but my professor said that using acrylic would count for this weeks project. This is more of a practice so that I could see if I can do what I really want, which is very different. It's a deer, and next week I will be attempting something more challenging.

Watercolour

I'm taking a watercolour class right now, and this is my first project. It's just watercolour, no pen at all.

My Brother....

I finally finished my brothers portrait. I think it looks rather swell. I'm going to upload the photo I used to draw it as well as the actual picture. Hopefully you'll enjoy it. He decided on the pose and honestly, I think it suits him rather well. My only reluctance in this is my poor photography skills.

Copic Markers...!

I recently received a very generous gift full of copic markers which I've been using...constantly. This picture was my first full blown project, the face is of just a random person I found online, and the rest was just me fooling around. I didn't feel too bad about it because it was really more of a practice project, though I've recently started another portrait this time of my brother, it's not finished yet but when I complete it I'll be sure to share it.

Sketchbook Work

I've been working on this sketchbook since about June of this year, a lot of it is just drawings that pertain to nothing in particular. However, I want to upload some of the work that I liked.

MY BLOG

This blog is going to revolve around my artwork. It's going to contain work from my sketchbook, figure drawings, portfolio work as well as some concept work for various projects. I would LOVE criticism as well as comments. This stuff will either rock or totally suck, so whatever your opinion please share it. For example, this is a fairly old image from my sketchbook.
